Answer: The service aims to have 3 stage plants in a system. 1/3 are used every 2 weeks so a unit of 108 will provide your family with 36-40 plants for every 2 weeks (that is more than 2 plants per day or 5 for every 2 days).

  12. How can I not get bored with my salad?

Answer: In addition to what we have listed on our website, we have more than 200 different plants in our plant bank. It is super important to provide your service technician with feedback on things you like or dislike as well as ask him/her about what you are getting and how to use it.

  13. Can I get my system to be organic?

Answer: Yes, however, the only difference between our regular service and our organic service is the source of nitrogen (all other minerals are the same minerals). For organic you have to use either animal waste or byproducts of animal processes as the source for nitrogen (Ammonia or nitrates) whereas in a non-organic system, you use a chemical reaction called nitrogen fixation which utilizes air (80% nitrogen N2) to react with hydrogen to make ammonia NH3, this is later used to make solid fertilizer.
